EU-information in Oulu University Library

Oulu University Library provides

  • training and guidance on finding EU related information 

Printed Collection 

Oulu University Library's printed EU collection is located on the third floor in Pegasus Libary. Materials can be found in Oula-Finna online library catalog.  

Latest EU publications are available electronically and can be ordered free of charge in print format from the Publications Office of the EU.

EDC Libraries in Finland

Oulu University Library is one of EDC Libraries in Finland. The role of EDC (European Documentation Centre) is to:

  • support EU related teaching and research
  • give access to EU information for higher education and wider local community 
  • contribute to the discussion on the EU matters

EDC Libraries work in cooperation with EU Direct information points. EU Direct information points provide information to the general public about EU and the rights of EU citizens. In Oulu Europe Direct is located in Sepänkatu 20.
