Search for theses and dissertations in Finna

Finna.fi service allows you to search for theses from Finnish universities. Type in your own search terms or browse theses by organisation. 

  1. Go to Finna.
  2. Type your search terms and click search.
  3. Choose "thesis" from the drop-down menu.
  4. You can e.g. limit the search results to Doctoral dissertations.

Instructions for thesis work and graduating students

Interlibrary loans free of charge for thesis work

Students of Oamk working on their thesis can get max 5 free interlibrary loans from Finnish libraries if the school is willing to pay for them. To receive these free loans, the student has to have permission from the thesis tutor teacher. After getting permission, the student fills in the Interlibrary loan request for customers from Oulu. In Payer information, choose "Paying department", and in Cost unit / invoicing address, write "Oamk".
