Instructions for use of the Scopus database

Use same account in all Elsevier databases:
ScopusScienceDirectMendeley | SciVal.

Creating a RIS file in Scopus

1. Sign in to Scopus. You can use the same login credentials as for Mendeley and the ClinicalKey service.

2. Select all or choose references from the search result list and click Export.

 

3. Choose RIS format. Select Abstract & keywords to transfer them to Covidence. You will need this information in the screening process. Finally, click Export.

4. Click on “Track status” in the bottom right corner.

 

5. On the Export page that opens, select “Download RIS.”

 

The RIS file will be found in your device's downloaded files.

 

You can also find the Exports page under your profile by clicking your initials in the top right corner.
