Uusi Ebscon käyttöliittymä | New Ebsco user interface

Suuri osa toiminnoista pysyy samanlaisina. Tietokannat ovat samat. Hakeminen (katkaisumerkit, Boolen operaattorit, läheisyysoperaattorit) ja rajaaminen toimivat kuten ennenkin.

Tällä hetkellä ei toimi tai toimii eri tavalla

  • vanhan Ebscon tallennetut kansiot, haut ja uutuusvahdit eivät näy uudessa Ebscossa
    • päivitystä tähän tullee tammikuussa ja huhtikuussa 2025
  • Mendeley Web Importerilla useiden viitteiden siirto hakutuloksesta ei toimi
  • viittaustiedot (Cited References, Times Cited in this Database) eivät näy
    • päivitystä tähän tullee kesällä 2025
  • julkaisuihin ei voi lisätä muistiinpanoja
  • eBook Collection (EBSCOhost) -e-kirjoja ei voi kuunnella Ebscossa (kuten ei vanhassakaan käyttöliittymässä)
    • päivitystä tähän tullee 2025
    • tällä hetkellä kirjoja voi kuunnella ainakin Edge-selaimella
  • eBook Collection (EBSCOhost) -e-kirjoihin ei voi tehdä varauksia.

EBSCO is updating the user interface for all their hosted databases. There is no change to the content hosted in each database. The homepage for each database will look different, but the functionality of the search boxes is the same. 

Currently not working or operating in a different way​​​​​​​

  • Mendeley Web Importer doesn't work in search results
  • reference information (Cited References, Times Cited in this Database) no longer exists
    • this update is expected in the autumn of 2024 and more in the summer of 2025
  • notetaking feature no longer exists
  • eBook Collection (EBSCOhost) -e- books cannot be listened in Ebsco interface yet
    • this update is expected in 2025
    • currently Ebsco e-books can be listened to in Edge browser
  • no researvation on the e-book in eBook Collection (EBSCOhost) can be made.
