This guide contains information and instructions for publishing, such as choosing the publication channel, Oamk's own publication series Oamk Journal, submitting publication information to the publication data collection of the Ministry of Education and Culture, self-archiving, APC fees, ORCID and Creative Commons licenses. The guide also contains guidelines for open publishing and Oamk's principles for open publishing.
It is important that project results are open to public. This increases knowledge about the competence and RDI-activities in Oamk.
The publication of the projects has traditionally been placed at the end of the project. However, the best benefit is achieved by publishing throughout the project. Then the publishing activities support other communication in the project and become part of it.
Different forms of publication can be used at different stages of the project:
It is important to take the publishing into account already in the projects application stage, when the necessary resource can be reserved for it.
