The international ORCID identifier (Open Researcher and Contributor ID) will provide you with a permanent and unique digital identifier. It’s a series of numbers that will distinguish you from other researchers. There are currently over 9,5 million ORCID identifiers in use across the globe.

What is ORCID and why do I need it?

• Rresolves confusion arising from name changes, researchers with the same name, or different ways of writing a person’s name.
