Finding variations of a word

Wildcard characters

* replaces 0...n characters            comput* retrieves computer, compute, computing computation        

? replaces any single character    compute? retrieves computer and computed (doesn't retrieve computers)

Wildcards cannot be used at the start of a search term or when searching for phrases within quotes.    

Stemming,plurals 

The singular form of a word finds various forms    

steel retrieves steel, steels
chat retrieves chat, chatting

Phrases    

phrase in quotation marks

= exact phrase    "information system" 

Operators    

Boolean operators

AND, OR, AND NOT

No proximity operators

Tips    

The default operator between search terms is OR     ​

Export references to Mendeley:

Select the references which you want to export.
» select Export citations and from drop-down menu

» click from the right bottom corner of  the window
Download citation icon
» save the reference on your computer

» Login to your Mendeley account and select  Add new and files from the computer.

» You can move the reference to some specific collection in your Mendeley account.
